Application Outcomes, Accept, Refer or Decline
When your application for a Tesco credit card is processed there are three main outcomes:
- Your application will be accepted and you will receive your credit card.
- Your application will be given a referral status. This can be for a number of reasons, including: a section on your application form was incomplete or there was insufficient information on your credit history. In this instance your application will go into a referral queue and a Tesco Personal Finance representative will be in touch with you to obtain the necessary information to complete your application process. Referrals will either then be accepted or declined dependent upon the further information received.
- Your application will be declined and you will receive notification of this decision from Tesco Personal Finance.
