As well as being a great place to pick up holiday essentials, some of our stores now have an ATM cash machine which allows you to withdraw Euro notes there and then - commission free!

Your Euro ATM questions answered...
- Can I use my debit or credit card at a Tesco Euro ATM?
We accept all UK debit and cash cards. But, we do not accept any kind of credit cards.
- How much can I withdraw?
Up to your card's daily allowance. For example, if your limit is £500 and you've already withdrawn £250 from a normal Sterling ATM, you can only withdraw £250 worth of Euros on the same day.
- How will I know what the exchange rate is?
Insert your card and select the amount of Euros you wish to withdraw. A screen will pop up showing:
- The amount of Euros
- The exchange rate
- How much would be debited from your account in Sterling if you make the withdrawal.
We'll remind you again once you've entered your PIN and your bank has authorised the transaction. And once your transaction is complete, a breakdown is printed onto a receipt for you to take away.
- Can I stop my Euro withdrawal?
We'll ask you twice during your transaction if you want to go ahead or not: once before you enter your PIN and then once again after your bank has authorised your card.
- Will I be charged for withdrawing Euros?
We don't charge you for withdrawing Euros from our cash machines. But your provider may charge you.
If your provider charges:
Once you enter your PIN the charge to be made is shown. You're then asked if you want to proceed with the transaction. If not, the transaction is cancelled and no charges are made.
If they don't charge:
Once you enter your PIN, the screen will only show the amount of Euros you're withdrawing, the exchange rate and the Sterling equivalent to be deducted from your account.
- If I have a problem with the machine dispensing cash what do I do?
Any dispensing queries should be directed to 0800 195 9868 (key option 1 or 3). Calls are free of charge from a UK landline. Calls from other networks may vary. Calls may be recorded.
- If my card is declined what do I do?
If your card is declined you should contact your own provider.
