Advice for disabled drivers
There are a number of insurance companies that offer breakdown car cover for disabled drivers.
Not only will you benefit from quick and effective roadside assistance in the event of a breakdown, breakdown cover offers peace of mind knowing that help is just a phone call away.
When shopping for breakdown car cover, check that your insurance policy covers your specific needs.
- If your car needs to go in for repairs, are you able to find other means of transport to get around.
- In the event of a breakdown and you did not know your location, would your breakdown company be able to trace your location from your mobile phone? If you do not own a mobile phone, think about getting one for the car with an emergency tariff that allows you to call for help if you need to.
