Driving in Europe
Driving in Europe is different to driving in the UK.
The most obvious difference is that you will be driving on the right hand side of the road but each European country has its own set of rules and regulations. Here are some tips to help you prepare for your trip abroad.
- Take the right documentation with you. You will need your full driver's license or international driving permit, your vehicle registration documents, and a European Motor Insurance Certificate or Green Card.
- Ensure you have a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, high visibility jacket, warning triangle, spare car light bulbs, GB sticker and tool kit in your car.
