3 easy steps to a FREE MOT and Tesco Service:

  1. Purchase Tesco Car Insurance online from tescobank.com by 15th September 2010.
  2. We will send you a voucher within 4 weeks of purchase including details of how to book your appointment at any Nationwide or Halfords Autocentre. The voucher is valid until 11th November 2011.
  3. Call to book your FREE MOT and Tesco 18 point service at least 28 days in advance and take a photocopy of your valid Tesco Car Insurance Certificate along with your voucher.

Please note: With a Tesco Service, if you drive a car with an engine size larger than 2.2 litres, or that requires fully synthetic oil, a fee of £20 will be charged for each. Charges will apply for parts/additional labour/retest.

Offer terms and conditions

  1. Available to new customers who buy Tesco Car Insurance online directly from Tesco Bank.com between 22/07/2010 and 15/09/2010 for cars up to 2.2 litres in engine size with non-synthetic oil.
  2. The FREE Tesco Service includes an oil and filter change, plus 18 other checks and adjustments.
  3. If your car is over 2.2 litres in engine size and/or requires fully synthetic oil, an additional £20 will be charged for each.
  4. Excludes purchases from all price comparison websites including quotes originating from them.
  5. The policyholder will be sent a voucher within four weeks of purchase with details of how to book their FREE MOT & Tesco Service at a Nationwide or Halfords Autocentre.
  6. FREE MOT & Tesco Service must be booked a minimum of 28 days in advance and a copy of your valid Tesco Car Insurance Certificate must be taken to the centre along with your voucher.
  7. FREE MOT & Tesco Service must have taken place by 11th November 2011.
  8. If the policy is cancelled within the first 14 days, you will not receive the voucher.
  9. If any repairs are identified or are required to pass the MOT, an additional charge will apply for any parts and labour. Customers are under no obligation to have the work undertaken at Nationwide or Halfords Autocentres.
  10. If your car fails its FREE MOT, you will be able to have a retest for £27.
  11. If you have a manufacturers warranty it is your responsibility to check in advance whether this will be invalidated by having a service undertaken at Nationwide or Halfords Autocentres.
  12. This offer is only valid for Class 4 vehicles as determined by VOSA (see www.vosa.gov.uk for more details).
  13. There is no cash alternative.
  14. The offer is non-transferable.
  15. Excludes Northern Ireland.
