UK's favourite smile
Kylie Minogue is the owner of the nation's favourite smile, according to Tesco Dental Insurance.
Surprisingly, Jack Nicholson finishes last, respondents perhaps failing to recall his famous smile as the Joker in Batman and an obsessive compulsive in As Good As It Gets.
Also unexpected is X Factor's "Mr Nasty", Simon Cowell: despite having blindingly perfect pearly whites, he finishes in 12th place, only just above Princess Anne.
Respondents were also asked which other smiles brighten up their day. Husbands/wives/partners had the highest rating at 41%, followed closely by friends and offspring (31% and 28% respectively). A Mother's grin is valued more than Dad's, with 8% of respondents saying she brightened up their day as opposed to 3% for Dad.
