With our 35% discount included, 10% of customers could get our Standard Policy for £7.35 a month for dogs and £4.32 a month for cats. That's only 25p a day for dogs and 15p a day for cats. Discount consists of our current 20% introductory discount plus an additional 15%. (more about this discount)

Two levels of Pet insurance cover...
Pets and people are diverse. That's why Tesco Pet insurance comes with two choices of cover:

Our standard excesses are £50 for cats and £60 for dogs. When you get a quote, you can increase your excess level and lower your premium.
What can I add to Tesco Pet insurance?

- Accidental death - Pets are priceless - but we could cover their purchase price (up to £1,500) if they go missing, are stolen, or fatally hurt in an accident
- Theft or straying - Benefit from up to £1,500 towards advertising and a reward if your pet goes missing
- Hospitalisation of owner - Up to £1,000 in boarding fees if you have to go into hospital for over 4 days
- Holiday cancellation or curtailment - Benefit from up to £5,000 cover if you have to cancel or cut short your holiday if your pet goes missing or needs emergency-life saving treatment
- Overseas travel - cover and payment for when your pet makes a trip abroad
- Third Party Liability insurance - cover should your dog cause an accident or damage someone's property
