To apply you must be:

• Over 16 years of age. However an adult may open a savings account "in trust" for a child under the age of 16 by calling 08457 10 40 10 (calls may be recorded)
• Be a UK resident

During the application process you'll need:

• Your bank account details

• Up to 1.25% Gross/AER (variable) (minimum balance to earn this rate is £50,000)

What happens next?

• After applying online, your documents will be sent to you to sign along with the Savings Terms and Conditions
• Once we've processed your signed application, you'll receive a Welcome Pack and Savings Card (if applicable), and be contacted to discuss your telephone banking needs
